The Goldie Lox is an evolution of attempts made over many years attempting to develop an optimal fly for this situation ... mission accomplished! An oldie but a goodie, the Peaches & Green chironomid pupae represents brown/olive chironomid pupae as they are just beginning to gas up to emerge. The brilliant white bead head does a great job representing gills, attracting trout and getting/keeping the fly in the zone. The body material "shape shifts" depending on how the light hits it adding to its allure!  As with all of our flies the P&G is the exact same pattern, tied the with the exact same materials and in the exact same manner (including a full coating of krazy glue!), as  we use ourselves here on the trophy trout waters of the beautiful BC Interior. The P&G  has proven it's self worthy over years of testing and is a must have in your chirony fly box! Tied on quality 2X hooks and available in four (4) sizes - #14, #16, #18 & #10 Bomber!

If you've been doing this long enough you've surely heard of the "pornomid" chironomid pupa fly ... a super effective cronie pattern that kinda faded away as the tying materials became harder & harder to find. With the advent of new materials however, along with some local ingenuity, ;) the Window Washer Chironomid has proven to be a formidable substitute! One of the flies enticing qualities is it's ability to "shape shift" depending on how the light hits it, adding to its allure ... a feature that's hard to capture in a photo but that you will notice immediately in hand. As with all of our flies the Window Washer Pornomid variant is the exact same pattern, tied the with the exact same materials and in the exact same manner (including a full coating of krazy glue!), as  we use ourselves here on the trophy trout waters of the beautiful BC Interior.

A good all around cronie pattern, but an exceptional early hatch (pre gas up) imitator and late season bomber representation! A white bead gill for murky waters and a black bead version for clear stillwaters with picky bows. As with all of our flies, the Fireball chironomid is tied for you the exact same way we tie it for ourselves, utilizing high quality hooks, beads and the flyguys standard full body krazy glue finish!
